Sunday 27th of July was International Bog Day, and the charity Plantlife re-released a You Tube video from a conference pre the Glasgow COP in 2021, about the peatlands on their reserve at Munsary part of the Flow Country in Sutherland. While this blanket bog may seem a million miles away from Walshaw in its scale and utter remoteness it’s a really good listen, and goes into some depth about peaty science.
