Nothing could drown out the sea of red dresses as dancers from as far as Pittsburg in the US joined us on the moors. Photos Matt Lumsden

Dark clouds and soggy grass couldn’t dampen the exuberant atmosphere.

Penistone Hill in Haworth on Sunday 27th July 2025 saw a ‘mass wuther’ as dancers, all clad in red, gathered to celebrate these moors.

Thank you to Matt Lumsden for capturing these fabulous images.

Robbie Moore MP for Worth Valley constituency invites the Leader of the House Lucy Powell to join the Haworth ‘Most Wuthering Day Ever’ event 2025

A video of Nick MacKinnon’s presentation in September 2024. This was made in response to the original 65-turbine site plan, presently reduced to 41 turbines. However, the threat of irreversible devastation of ancient, carbon-storing peat, obliteration of highly protected species and the hugely detrimental imposition on local communities during the lengthy construction period still remains

Oxenhope Fete July 2024

This video was made by a globally-renowned expert in envisioning for the wind farm industry, using the exact coordinates and dimensions of the turbines.  Please note that it was made using the ORIGINAL site layout of 65 turbines.  The number of turbines proposed is now 41 – but this gives an idea of scale.  All the turbines will be lit at night.
